Title Examinations for Successful Real Estate Transactions
During a title search, we go into an in-depth examination of a property’s history.
We go through public records and other sources to find any title issues that might disrupt the sale of the property, such as unpaid tax liens or any restrictions placed on the property. The most common places our title examiners will find any title defects include the county assessor’s office, the property appraiser’s office, the county court records/public records, and surveyor’s records. After a detailed title examination, we issue a title report with the results of the research.
